Gracey Ripa sitting and painting in an apartment with the view of San Francisco in the background.

I'm Gracey

Working from my studio in Northern California, I create layered oil paintings rooted in contemporary figurative expressionism. I balance highly rendered focal points with loose brushwork to create movement and atmosphere. My subject matter focuses on portraiture, botanical elements, and wildlife.

I create each painting with luxury materials, including high quality oil paints, deep-edged linen canvases, and premium varnish finishes. Over twenty years of experimentation, my work reflects dedication and an evolving artistic vision.
