Meet Gracey Ripa, an an abstract realism painter and traveling muralist based in California. Her passion for painting began at a very young age, shaped by the influence of women throughout her life. Her work centers on female portraits, reflecting both inspiration and admiration. After high school, Ripa became a full-time tattoo artist, honing her skills for seven years. Her desire to pursue painting full-time eventually led to her shift in careers. As a full-time painter, Ripa developed two distinct styles: bright, joyful murals and deep, emotional canvas works. She finds fulfillment in both styles, embracing the contrasts in her artistic expression. Ripa regularly exhibits her paintings in art shows and has displayed at places such as the Denver Art Museum, Art Basel Miami, and the San Francisco Art Fair.
